We need to check the wiring to the battery. Here are some things to look out for:
1. First, we need to open the panel by removing the screw at the top, pushing the 2 white tabs down on the top right and left and pulling forward. You will now see the battery and the rest of the circuit board.
2. Two terminals connecting to the positive and negative of the battery. Make sure these are securely locked in place and will not fall out or move. The red wire goes to the positive (red), the black wire goes to the negative (black)
3. The 2 red wires need to be connected securely together and snugly in place
4. Last but not least we need to make sure the circuit plug is secured and in its appropriate location.
Once you have checked these connections, put the panel back together. Hold the "6" key down for a few seconds until the screen on the panel changes. It will tell you exactly how many Volts the battery has. The optimal voltage is roughly 6 Volts.
