GE Shock Sensor can be use as D/W only mode, as Shock only mode and as the combined D/W & Shock Mode.

    D/W Only Mode:

Learn sensor in as a D/W Sensor

Sensor will report on panel and ADC Site as a Group-10 (default) or any other valid door/window reporting group that is set on the panel

System reports separate open signals and then separate closed signals, as the door or window open or close

    Shock Only Mode:

Learn sensor in as a Shock Sensor with the “Other Shock” sensor sub-type. Disable the D/W component on the sensor (dip switch 5 disabled)

Sensor will report on panel and ADC Site as a Group-13 (default) or Group-17 if that group that is set on the panel

System reports combined open/closed signals at the same time when shock is detected

    Dual Mode (D/W + Shock):

Learn in as Door/Window-M (for multi-sensor) Enable both shock and d/w components on sensor (dip switch 5 enabled)

Sensor will report on panel and ADC Site as a Group-10 (default) or any other valid door/window reporting group that is set on the panel and reports as though it was a D/W sensor type

Note: if EITHER the shock component OR the d/w component are tripped, then the sensor will report as though it was a d/w trip only

Note this limitation: System reports combined open/closed signals at the same time , so you will never see the door or window in the opened state (even if door or window are left open)
