This is how to program wireless sensors into a DSC Power Series panel (specifically a PC1616, PC1832, or PC1864). You need a wireless receiver like the PC5132-433 in order to add wireless sensors.
First you will need to get into programming mode. Hit *8 5555 (or your installer code)
Then you will set the zone types. Type in 001 to go to section 001. Here you will enter the two digit zone types for zones 1 through 16. Try not to change the zone types for your existing sensors, if you are not entering all 16 then hit # when you are done.
Then you need to enter in the serial numbers for the wireless sensors. This should be on a sticker on the sensor and will be labeled as the ESN number.
Go to section 804 and enter 01, then type in the ESN number for zone 1. (If you get a long beep when you hit 01 then you may not have a wireless receiver installed, or you may need to power cycle the system to get it to be recognized by the panel.) Then hit 02 to enter the ESN for zone 2, go to 03 to enter the ESN for zone 3, etc. When you are done hit #.
Next you need to set each wireless zone as wireless instead of hardwired. Go to section 101 and toggle 8 on (if 8 is not showing on the keypad then hit 8 to turn it on, then hit #, if 8 is showing then just hit #). Then go to section 102 and toggle 8 on to set zone 2 as wireless, go to section 103 and toggle 8 on to set zone 3 as wireless, etc.
When you are done hit # to exit programming.
