If you have a ''check 103'' showing on your display screen it could mean a number of different things, the most common are listed below, if you have a fixed english keypad then you will see a ''bf'' on your screen but it is the exact same thing as a ''check 103'' so follow the troubleshooting options below.:
1) If you have a GSM unit on your panel then the first thing we would do is check the cover on our module and make sure it is on nice and snug. If everything is ok there then we need to doublecheck our wiring connections in particular, our green and yellow between the GSM and the control panel.
Next check the battery, if the GSM has a low battery then it will generate a check 103. So power cycle the GSM and make sure when you power it back up you connect the battery before you plug it into AC power.
Lastly if you have monitoring that has not been activated then you will get a check 103 once *29 has been enabled until the module has been activated.
2) If this panel had a GSM in the past but no longer does then you will need to clear *29. Once you do that and you are back out of programing enter your code + 1(off) twice and the notification should be cleared.
